Phonics Workbook 1: This unit is the first unit in a six-part phonics program. Unit 1 focuses on letter/sound recognition and letter formation. The workbook contains 60 writing pages in the first section of the workbook. Section 2 focuses on letters that sound the same and may cause confusion.

Breakdown of the units:

Unit 1 – The Alphabet
Unit 2 – Blending letters to make your first words
Unit 3 – Short vowel sounds
Unit 4 – Blends, digraphs, and plural sounds
Unit 5 – Long vowel sounds
Unit 6 – Special sounds
